Thank you for stopping to look at our show! At Old Gold Tech we bring you a video show dedicated to all the great old technology of yesteryear.

We realised that tech shows today bring you news and reviews about the latest and greatest, what’s hot and what’s not. Now we’re not saying there’s anything wrong with that, not at all, we just wanted to pay our respects to the great inventors and technologists that have paved the way for all the great fun tech we all use today. That’s why our show is a little bit different.

Old Gold Tech founders Nic and Neil are avid fans of technology, especially the old stuff, from reel-to-reel tape decks to the late great game consoles. We both have a lot of this great tech at home and having a place to share and showcase these gadgets with you all is great fun. If it’s Old it’s Gold, and we hope that this series of shows bring back some fond memories of the great tech stuff of days gone by.

So how do we get these shows to you? We shoot all our shows at home in a garage, sometimes it’s freezing in there and other times we feel we’re filming in a sauna! Our setup is simple, a single HD Camera, a Green Screen, Final Cut Express, Adobe After Effects, hard work, lots of tea and coffee, some luck and patience!
